People often ask me where I source my ingredients from so I decided to create My Suppliers page. I will add details of the shops, dealers or producers that I use here.

Source Food Hall and Café

Great quality meat, poultry, game, fish, fruit & veg, cheese etc. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Local, seasonal and sustainable produce.

Castellano’s Charcuterie

Vincent Castellano is an expert charcutier producing an amazing selection of homemade sausages, bacon, black pudding, patés, terrines, cured meats, chorizo, duck confit etc.

Check out their stall at the Bath Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.

The Fish Shop

Fresh, local and sustainable fish and seafood. Free delivery on Fridays (within 2 mile radius, min. order £20). Check out their website for details on their fishing trips, fish lottery and other offers/events. They have an oyster stall outside on Saturdays.

Dave Giles

Family-run butchers who source quality meat, poultry and game from local producers. They make their own sausages too. Friendly and helpful. They give you free bones for stock if you ask nicely.

Grape and Grind

Opened last year, this beautiful wine shop is a welcome addition to Gloucester Road. Darren and Polly’s experience and knowledge of wine is amazing and I love that they’re approachable and friendly, always willing to give advice on wine and food matching etc. They only stock what they like, everything is carefully sourced. They hold special tasting evenings, email to get on their mailing list for events.

Bristol Cider Shop

Opened December 2010 on the historic Christmas Steps, Pete and Nick stock over 80 varieties of draught and bottled cider, as well as a whole host of other cider-related treats. They’re passionate about cider and only stock traditional cider and perry made from 100% juice. Everything is made within 50 miles of Bristol and is sourced directly from independant producers.
